On August 4, 2021 at 7:58 pm, Officers with the San Angelo Police Department's Anti-Crime and Gang Units located a white Ford truck that was known to be connected to several burglaries throughout the City and County.  Officers initiated a traffic stop on Southwest Blvd, near Twin Mountain Dr, but the driver of the Ford truck failed to stop and attempted to evade Officers.  Pursuing Officers lost sight of the vehicle for a short period, but it was later discovered that the truck had struck a parked vehicle on Oxford Circle.  The suspects then fled on foot.  A perimeter was set up.  The K9 unit and Drone team responded.  After a search of the area, the two suspects were later located hiding under a truck in the 2700 block of SAC.  The suspects were taken into custody without incident. The driver, a 16 year old male, was arrested on a Directive to Apprehend Warrant, Felony Evading, and Evading on Foot.  The passenger, Shannon Clark (18), was arrested for Evading on Foot.   ###
