Victim's Compensation

Victims and their families suffer an emotional price as the result of crime.  In addition, they are responsible for the medical bills due to their physical injuries and counseling expenses to alleviate the psychological trauma.  They pay with time lost from work, and, in some cases, they pay funeral bills.  This site provides general information about Crime Victims' Compensation.  If you would like more information about this program, contact the Crime Victims' Compensation Division at 800-983-9933.
