On 1/5/23 around 7:20 pm, Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500blk of East 29th in reference to a domestic disturbance. Information was obtained that the disturbance was between a male and female and that the male was possibly armed with a machete.
Several Officers responded and observed multiple signs inside of the residence that made them believe that an assault had taken place. The male (61yoa) and female (55 yoa) denied any confrontation, but it was learned that the female half had an active County Warrant for her arrest.
The female (Sandra Moore) was taken into custody for her County Warrant, and neither subject was charged with Assault Family Violence at this time. The incident was documented, and the Assault charge will be forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office.
