Saturday, October 21, 2017 — Detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division are searching for a man who shot a local teen Saturday night in the College Hills subdivision.
Police were dispatched to an area hospital around 9:00 p.m. Saturday for the report of a shooting victim. Upon arrival, Officers learned the victim, 18, had been brought into the emergency room by friends. The teen underwent emergency surgery for a gunshot wound to the abdomen and he remains hospitalized in serious condition.
Further investigation revealed that just prior to the shooting, the victim was attending a party at a residence, possibly near SAC Avenue and Oxford Drive, when the victim became engaged in a in a physical altercation with the suspect. The suspect was described as a white male in his early-to-mid-twenties, with dreadlocks.
