October 26, 2017 — Detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the 100 block of W. 8th Street Thursday around 3:00 p.m.
The male victim, age 72, was transported to an area hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries he sustained after he was stabbed by a female acquaintance. The suspect fled prior to Officer arrival.
This is an active investigation and no further information is available for release.
