Four San Angelo men have been charged in connection to a recent armed robbery that took place at an apartment complex in Southwest San Angelo.
Police were dispatched to the Wildewood Apartments, 3510 Wildewood Drive, around 5:37 a.m. on December 30, 2017, for the report of armed suspects that forced their way into an apartment and demanded personal property from several occupants at gunpoint. No one was injured during the incident.
Following a lengthy investigation and with assistance from the Department’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit, Detectives with the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division learned the identities of the suspects and that one of the suspects was an acquaintance of one of the victims. Subsequently, Detectives obtained arrest warrants for Aggravated Robbery for Richard Rouse, 22, Devinie T. Taylor, 21, Michael W. Wade, 25, and Dexter Williams-Gillespie, 22. The suspects were located late Friday evening, January 5, 2018. Following their interviews with Detectives, the suspects were transported to the Tom Green County Jail where they were booked in on their respective charges.
This is an ongoing investigation and no other information will be released at this time.
