Sunday, October 22, 2017 — Through follow-up investigation, Detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division along with members of the Patrol Division identified 17-year-old Dorian Confer as a possible suspect who shot a local teen Saturday night.
On Sunday afternoon, Police located Confer outside a residence in the 3300 block of Stanford Street. Confer was transported to Police Headquarters and subsequently charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.
The shooting victim, an18-year-old male, remains in serious condition.
This is an ongoing investigation and no further information is available for release at this time.
