April 10, 2019 — Investigators with the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division and SWAT Team executed a Search Warrant at a residence in the 2600 block of Freeland Avenue.
The warrant, issued by District Judge Ben Woodward, named 37-year-old Donald Short to be in possession of Methamphetamine at the residence.
Short was located inside the residence and detained during the search, where investigators located and seized a quantity of Methamphetamine, altered firearms, and narcotic paraphernalia.
Short was arrested for State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1. Additional charges are pending the outcome of this ongoing investigation.
The Department’s Patrol Division, K-9 Unit, and the Center for Tactical Medicine assisted with today’s operation.
