On Wednesday, September 6, 2017, Investigators with the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division along with Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) executed a Search Warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Lipan Street.
The warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard, named 31-year-old Kathryn McWilliams to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.
McWilliams and four subjects, identified as 39-year-old Michael Korthals, 26-year-old Kayla Browne, 39-year-old Theresa Allen, and 25-year-old Brandon Blanke, were detained during the search, which subsequently yielded the seizure of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Following the operation, McWilliams and Korthals were charged with State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1. Brown and Allen were charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Blanke was arrested for outstanding warrants.
The Department’s Patrol Division assisted with the operation.
