Lt. Tim Pucci joined the San Angelo Police Department in 1998. Before joining the San Angelo Police Department, Lt. Pucci was a police officer with the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department from 1996 until 1998. Lt. Pucci also attended the Regional Law Enforcement Academy at San Antonio College in San Antonio, Texas.

From 1998 until 2005, Lt. Pucci served in the Patrol Division as a patrol officer. Lt. Pucci was promoted to Sergeant in 2005 and served on every shift in the Patrol Division. In 2010, Lt. Pucci was awarded the Patrol Supervisor of the Year award. In late 2011 and through most of 2012, Lt. Pucci developed and implemented a new call stacking and call priority dispatch system, which made improvements to how patrol officers respond to calls for service. Lt. Pucci also improved the citizen online reporting systems to provide the public with more options when reporting crime to the police.

Lt. Pucci was promoted to Lieutenant on May 30th, 2013 and was assigned as the Commander of Adam Company Patrol Shift until July 2016 when took command of the Communications Division. Lt. Pucci has over 2100 hours of training in his career and holds a Master Peace Officer Certification.
