Shooting results in Death of 16 yr old

On Thursday March 17^th, 2022 at approximately 3:35p.m. San Angelo Police were dispatched to a residence in the 900 blk of Crenshaw. Once at the scene, Officers learned that 16yr old male had been shot in the chest. Officers began CPR on the shooting victim and he was transported to Shannon Hospital by ambulance.  He was pronounced deceased a short time later.  Investigators at the scene determined that juveniles at that location were handling a firearm and the 16 yr old male was shot. This incident is still under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
