On 6/12/22 at approximately 3:00am, Officers were dispatched to the 1000blk of East 20th street in reference to a “Shots Fired” call for service. Upon arrival, Officers received information that multiple shots had been fired at this location and that a 20 year old female had been injured during this incident. Officers then learned that the female had been transported via private vehicle to Shannon Downtown.
Officers learned that the 20 year old female had been shot and that she is currently receiving treatment at Shannon.
SAPD’s Criminal Investigation and Crime Scene Divisions are currently gathering evidence and investigating this incident.
