San Angelo Man arrested for multiple Felonies.

Between the dates of 3/6/23 and 3/23/23, SAPD Officers documented multiple incidents regarding two stolen vehicles and a stolen rear license plate. SAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division were able to determine that all three incidents were tied together and were being committed by a suspect named Dallion Holt (21yoa.)

Holt initially stole a 2018 Ford Fusion from a local townhouse and then utilized that stolen vehicle few days later to steal another vehicle (2013 Silverado) from a local bar in the 3300blk of Arden Road. SAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division learned that Holt also stole a rear license plate from a similar 2020 Ford Fusion at Texas Roadhouse and had placed it on the back end of the stolen 2018 Ford Fusion.

On 3/23/23. Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 2400blk of N. Lillie to recover the stolen 2013 Silverado. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed that the vehicle was in fact the one stolen from Arden Road.

While recovering the stolen Silverado, an SAPD patrol officer located the stolen 2018 Ford Fusion traveling Eastbound on Beauregard near Johnson Street. The patrol unit attempted to conduct a Traffic Stop on the vehicle and the driver began to evade from Officers. The vehicle was ultimately lost in the surrounding neighborhoods and Officers were unable to locate it.

SAPD Detectives assisted with this investigation and learned that Holt was the driver, and the vehicle was being operated with the stolen rear plate from the Texas Roadhouse incident.

SAPD’s Patrol, Anti-Crime/Gang Unit, and our Criminal Investigations Division were able to locate Holt and he was taken into custody. Holt was charged with “Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle,” “Evading Arrest/Detention in a Motor Vehicle,” and a Felony County Warrant.

Officers were also able to recover the stolen 2018 Ford Fusion and multiple pieces of suspected stolen property were located and seized from the inside of the vehicle.

This was a great example of SAPD’s multiple divisions/units working together to help end this Criminal Episode.
