Friday, September 29, 2017 – The San Angelo Police Department welcomed back two certified peace Officers Friday afternoon.
Returning Officers Tina Burks and Juan Soto were sworn in during a private ceremony officiated by Police Chief Frank Carter at Police Headquarters.
Burks and Soto, both former San Angelo Police Department Peace Officers, were recently employed as Angelo State University Police.
Collectively the pair brings over 12.5 years of law enforcement experience back to the Department.
With the Meet and Confer Contract’s end in late September, the pair will likely be the last hired as lateral transfers.
