Press Release #091115(09)-Police Arrest Suspect, Recover Stolen Property from Residential Burglary

A 35-year-old San Angelo man has been arrested in connection to a residential burglary that occurred yesterday afternoon.

 

Police were dispatched to the 300 block of N. Milton Street around 12:40 yesterday for a burglary in progress.  Upon arrival, a witness provided the Officers with a description of the suspect and photographs of the suspect's vehicle and license plate taken with the witness? smart phone. 

 

During the field investigation, Officers developed information about the possible suspect's identity.  The suspect vehicle, an orange 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, was later located at a residence in the 3000 block of Odell.  The suspect was located a short time later in the 1900 block of Ricks Drive and taken into custody without incident for outstanding warrants.  He was identified as Isaac Jon Deanda (DOB 12-19-79) of San Angelo and transported to Police Headquarters for interview.  

 

Based on evidence collected at the scene by Crime Scene Technicians and information obtained in the interview, Deanda was charged with Burglary of a Habitation and transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident. 

 

The stolen property, two television sets and a handgun, were recovered from a storage building located at the residence on Odell.

 

This is an ongoing investigation and additional charges may be filed.
