Police Respond to Stabbing on West 18 Street
January 12, 2018 — At approximately 11:15 a.m. this morning, San Angelo Police and Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the area of West 18 and Martin Luther King Drive for the report of a stabbing.
The male victim, 31, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. A male suspect, 42, was apprehended near the crime scene.
Detectives with the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and hospital for follow up investigation and discovered the stabbing occurred following a verbal altercation.
