Police make Arrest for Aggravated Robbery

Twenty-eight year old Christopher Salmon was arrested yesterday for Aggravated Robbery after displaying a knife and stealing prescription medication at a local pharmacy.
Yesterday, April 26, 2016 at approximately 6:50 pm, San Angelo Police received a report of a Robbery at CVS Pharmacy, 318 W Beauregard. An employee of CVS reported the suspect displayed a knife and demanded he be given prescription medication or he would kill the employee. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of prescription pills. There was no injury to the employee.
Officers responding to the call were able to locate the suspect, Christopher Salmon, leaving the area on foot and take him into custody without incident in the 400 block of W Beauregard. Officers were able to locate Salmon quickly due to citizens pointing out the direction he left CVS.
Detective L Dye responded to the call to conduct an investigation. At the conclusion of the investigation, Salmon was transported to the Tom Green County Jail where he was charged with Aggravated Robbery.
