Yesterday, the San Angelo Police Department’s Traffic Section conducted a School Zone Traffic Enforcement Operation utilizing LIDAR in numerous school zones throughout San Angelo from 7:00 – 8:15 a.m. A total of twenty-four (24) citations and four (4) warnings were issued.
Following the School Zone Operation, LIDAR Traffic Enforcement was utilized in reported “Crash Zones” throughout San Angelo from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. A total of forty-two (42) citations and fifteen (15) warnings were issued. One person was arrested during the operation.
