The second suspect wanted in connection to the recent Robbery in the Marshall's store parking lot that left a 40-year-old woman injured has been arrested.
18-year-old Desmond Joshua Dixon was arrested at approximately 7:35 p.m. last night in the 1500 block of S. Bell Street without incident. He was located after Officers recognized a vehicle he was associated with parked in the parking lot. Dixon was transported to the Tom Green County Jail and booked on several outstanding Arrest Warrants.
Dixon's co-actor in the Robbery, Bentley Green, was apprehended yesterday.

Press Release #022316(19)-Police Obtain Arrest Warrants for Robbery Suspects

Detectives with the San Angelo Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division have obtained Arrest Warrants for two 18-year-old San Angelo men, Desmond Joshua Dixon and Bentley Green for their role in a Robbery that occurred just before 4:00 p.m. in the Marshall's parking lot, 4001 Sunset Drive on February 17, 2016.
Police were called to the location last Wednesday to investigate the report of a vehicle burglary turned robbery. When they arrived, they located a 40-year-old female victim who was suffering from apparent minor injuries she received when she was struck by the suspect's vehicle. San Angelo Fire Department Medics responded and treated the victim at the scene.
The victim told Officers she left Marshall's and discovered an unknown man burglarizing her vehicle. After she confronted the suspect, the man reportedly ran off and got into a nearby red/maroon-colored Honda passenger car that was being driven by another man. The vehicle then struck the victim as it fled the parking lot. Witnesses at the scene confirmed the victim's story and reported the suspect vehicle was last seen headed towards the Target shopping center.
Investigators later developed Dixon and Green as persons of interest and recovered some of the victim's stolen property. Subsequent to the investigation, Investigators applied for Arrest Warrants for the pair.
At approximately 12:30 this afternoon, Police located Green at a residence in the 2500 block of N. Van Buren. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with Robbery and another outstanding Warrant.

Press Release #022316(18)-Man Faces Burglary, Weapons Charges Stemming from Incident at 7-11

39-year-old Jeremy Harris of San Angelo has been charged with Burglary and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon after an incident at a local 7-11 convenience store yesterday evening.
Around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016, San Angelo Police were called to assist Angelo State University Police who were out with an armed subject at the 7-11 Convenience Store located at 1719 Kenwood Street.
ASU Police detained Harris after the store's clerk reportedly flagged down the Officer, who coincidentally arrived to the location to fuel up his patrol vehicle. Harris, who was inside the store when the ASU Officer arrived, was in possession of an unloaded handgun.
After speaking with the clerk, Officers learned Harris entered the store and began opening and consuming various food items. The clerk noticed Harris had a gun in his waistband, texted a friend to call the police, and then left the store upon seeing ASU Police. Upon learning about Harris and the weapon, the ASU Officer immediately entered the store and took Harris into custody without incident. The ASU Officer also located evidence that Harris had opened and taken an undisclosed amount of money from the Store's safe.
At the request of ASUPD, SAPD Detective James Hernandez was called to the scene to assist with the investigation. Harris was charged with Burglary, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and an outstanding Arrest Warrant for Motion to Revoke Parole/Probation Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and transported to the Tom Green County Jail. Once at the jail, Harris complained of medical issues and Officers were advised to transport Harris to Shannon Medical Center for evaluation and transported back to jail once cleared by hospital staff.
Prior to the incident at 7-11, Harris was reported to have entered the Stripes Convenience Store located at 1802 South Bryan and consumed one of the store's ice cream cones before he left without paying. Harris was subsequently issued a Criminal Trespass Warning from Stripes.

Press Relese #021816(17)-Three Injured, One Dead after Major Collision on Arden Road

At approximately 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, San Angelo Police and Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the 3400 block of Arden Road for the report of a major motor vehicle crash with entrapment involving two vehicles.
First responders arrived and found two involved vehicles, a tan 1992 Dodge Diesel Pickup truck and a tan 1998 Honda Accord. Due to the severity of the collision, the driver of the Honda, 28-year-old Adrian Hernandez, had to be extricated. Hernandez was transported to Shannon Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery. Hernandez later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff at 12:38 a.m. The Honda's passenger, 27-year-old Aaron Nitsch of San Angelo, was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries and later released.
The driver of the Dodge pickup, a 15-year-old male juvenile and his 16-year-old male juvenile passenger were transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of various injuries and later released. The names of the juveniles are not being released at this time.
Investigators with the Department's Traffic Section and Criminal Investigations Division were called to assist with the investigation. They determined the Honda was in the process of entering onto Arden Road from Oxford Street when the Dodge, traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed, collided with the Honda's driver- side door.
Traffic Investigators returned to the crash scene this morning to conduct a follow-up investigation. The Area of Arden Road between Mockingbird Lane and Robin Hood Trail was closed to oncoming traffic for several hours.
This is an ongoing investigation and charges may be filed pending the outcome of the investigation.

Press Release #021716(16)-Police Seek Witnesses to Drunk-Driving Crash on Chadbourne

The San Angelo Police Department's Traffic Section is searching for witnesses to a crash that occurred last Thursday evening in North San Angelo.
The crash occurred February 11, 2016, at approximately 8:30 p.m. near E 28th Street and N. Chadbourne when a white 2000 Dodge Ram Pickup that was traveling northbound turned left in front of a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt that was traveling south. After the initial collision, the Dodge pickup continued into the parking lot of the private business where it collided with an unoccupied white 2011 Mini Cooper.
The driver and passenger of the Cobalt were both injured. The Dodge pickup's driver, 47-year-old James Hall, was arrested for Intoxication Assault with Vehicle.
