Juan Jose Morales, Jr., 33, who was wanted in connection to this morning’s Aggravated Kidnapping of Danza Nicole Valdez, 19, was apprehended a short time ago by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office during a traffic stop near Weatherford, Texas. Valdez is reported safe.
During the investigation, information was developed which led to the suspect vehicle being located in Parker County. Detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division have been working in concert with surrounding law enforcement agencies to relay information about this morning’s abduction.
This is an active investigation and no other information is available at this time.
The San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is actively searching for Juan Jose Morales, Jr., 33, who is wanted in connection with the Aggravated Kidnapping of Danza Nicole Valdez, 19, who was abducted from a residence in the 400 block of E. 22nd Street early this morning.
Morales fled with Valdez in a white, two-door pickup truck. Morales is considered armed and dangerous. In addition to being sought for the kidnapping of Valdez, Morales is wanted on an MTR Parole Warrant.
Police were dispatched to the area of 22nd and Pecan just before 7:30 a.m. after receiving several calls for reports of shots fired in the area.

Just before 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017, San Angelo Police were dispatched to Shannon Medical Center for the report of a stabbing victim.
Officers arrived and learned the victim, a 30-year-old Hispanic male, had been stabbed while attending an after party at “The Spot”, located at 2635 Martin Luther King Drive. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released.
The stabbing reportedly occurred around 2:30 a.m. following a physical altercation inside the club near the women’s restroom. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’09”, approximately 165 lbs., with facial hair, and wearing blue jeans and boots.

This afternoon, members of the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division and K-9 Unit executed two Search and Arrest Warrants at the College Hills Barber Shop located at 2839 College Hills Blvd.
The warrants, issued by Justice of the Peace Judge Fred Buck, named Michael Deshaun Harris, 28, to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine, and Tejawn Cortney Crowder, 37, to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. Harris and Crowder were located at the shop and taken into custody without incident. A third subject, Qua Shaun Malik Sanders, 19, was arrested for an outstanding Motion to Revoke Warrant for Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.
During a search of the shop, Investigators located and seized a quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, and a rifle.
Harris was charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1. Crowder was charged with Possession of Marijuana <2OZ. The suspects were transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident.
On March 5th, 2017 at approximately 2:20 am, the San Angelo Police Department was called to the 1100 block of E. 24th St in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned that a dispute had occurred between the drivers of two different vehicles. The dispute escalated into a physical altercation, where several subjects assaulted the 32 year old male victim. The suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of the officers.
